Tulsa Makes National News

It is embarrassing that I live in a city that is in the national news for its resident exorcist. Yes I said exorcist. Bob Larson has a ministry in Tulsa that claims to take demons out of people. He also takes money out of wallets too. When you watch the video (see below), pay attention to the people in his audience. It disgusts me to see the weak-minded people taken advantage of like that. I think Bob Larson needs his pedestal knocked out from under him.

Go to www.cnn.com using internet explorer, firefox doesn't seem to work, and copy the line below into the address bar to see the video.
javascript:cnnVideo('play','/video/us/2006/03/28/foreman.the.exorcist.affl','2006/04/04');
Oh yeah, you'll have to temporarily allow pop-ups also.

Maybe some of you who commented on my last post need to go see this quack.

UPDATE: Bob Larson Ministries is headquartered in Denver Colorado. I checked out his website and it looks like he travels all over North America spreading his bullshit and collecting poor people's money.

There’s a look that I call “that look”, too. It’s the look a crazy fuck gets when he’s talking about demons and exorcism.

Thanks a lot, Rusko. I really needed yet another reason to be ashamed to live here.

Did you check out the 'Resources' tab on Larson's site? Videos ranging between $30 and $80 on such topics as "Devil Proofing Prayers" and "How to Beat the Devil at His Own Game". Ohh yeah and the ten dollar "Exposing Jezebel Study Guide". Gawd it's depressing to think i'm the same species as people who condone this shit. Oh Fuckin Hell, i just found a page on his site to "Join the DWJD (Do What Jesus Did) Core Team"! Just two hundred bucks a year for basic membershit (not a typo) upto 10,000 dollars (initial investment) to "plant a new team". This intire site is a commercial for Bob's brand ouija boards. Christ on a fucking stick.

Xians are so easy to make money off of. Just look at crazy Mel's Passion ...all Hollywood has to do is promote that a movie has an xian theme and there is a stampede to buy tickets! (Especially if there is blood, gore and martyrdom in it.) This guy found a great snake-oil act to make money off of suckers.

One particular scam that has been operating with a tulsa address for years is St Mattews Church or Church by Mail or Seed faith - it keeps a-changing names. I read a blog where someone received a "prayer rug" and letter soliciting funds in Jan this year. It's just mystifying to me how much money flows around in religious circles.
