Political Misconduct

Politicians that want to add creationism in Oklahoma public school science classrooms will go to any length to get their measures passed. I would hope that our intelligentsia learned from the Pennsylvania Judge Jones ruling. He said it was ridiculous to teach religion in schools, that it violates the establishment clause of the first amendment of the constitution. Read the 139 page ruling.

In Oklahoma there is a large number of fundamental literalistic christians that want to negate everything that good science has discovered about the origin of life on this planet. Therefore, the intelligent and informed representatives of this state have voted to pass a resolution rather than possibly lose votes from their constituents. The one politician that would speak against the issue was cut off in mid-sentence. Someone turned his microphone off! Read the details.

Oklahoma? Or Saudi Arabia.

This state is just a terror to live in, with Tom Coburn and the like representing us politically I feel overwhelmed. Tom Coburn is a raving religious lunatic. He said that high schools must not allow two girls to go to the bathroom at the same time for it was highly likely that they would, upon entering a smelly and dirty bathroom, loose their minds and become outrageous lesbian harlots engaging in explicit sexual acts. Yes indeed, the wise Oklahoman constituents voted this pious mad-dog into office and now we all have to live with the aftermath.
I will never forget watching the Daily Show and seeing the Judge Roberts confirmations and witnessing Coburn cry and weep like an infant while he described the partisan heartlessness being displayed in opposition to Roberts and then only minutes later they cut to a shot of him playing cross-word puzzles during the confirmations paying absolutely no attention…..I am ashamed to live in Oklahoma, oh how great the day will be when I am no longer constricted by school and monetary resources and will be able to leave this retched cesspool of pious ignorance.
